Hello all!
Hope everyone is doing so so well. Just a few thoughts from the week:
This week I just need to testify of the power of fasting. It is truly miraculous when we fast with a purpose, and with faith. Trusting that the Lord will do His part when we dedicate our thoughts and actions to Him. As part of our fast this past week, Sister Bagatoli and I decided to fast that we could find new investigators, who were ready and willing to accept the gospel. And it was incredible to see throughout the week, that throughout our way, we found them. First we have Cristina and Rafael, a reference from a member in the ward. They are awesome, and have lots of questions about the Book of Mormon, as well as many insights from the Bible. They need to get married before they can be baptized, but accepted the date of October 7! Excited to continue with them.
Miracle of the week- Tuesday night, we were so tired after treking throughout our area, trying to find people. All of our appointments fell through, and many weren't interested to hear our message, so at this point we were beat. We decided to head to a lanchonette to grab something to eat, and on our way over we passed a small family, dad mom and baby. About 5 seconds after we passed them, I had the strongest feeling that we needed to go back and talk to them - and Sister Bagatoli had the same feeling. Turns out, that they had had a lot of struggles lately, and that the head of the family, Agosto, had been waiting for a miracle. He has been without hope these last few weeks, sleepless and depressed, not knowing how to help his family. And as we testified for him that Heavenly Father knows Him and recognizes Him, he started to cry. I am always so amazed to see how Heavenly Father truly knows our hearts and our needs, and He will always send aid when needed.
Yesterday was the last day of the transfer - and today I officially have 8 months. WOW time passes so quickly. In 1 month I hit my half-way mark... opa.
