the Savior understands me

This week was super tiring, due to the fact that I had to go to Teresina to revew my visa... but it's all good. I can stay. Hahaha.

Had an awesome zona conference, and they focused a lot on the sacrament. And not just on how we teach the sacrament as missionaries, but also our understanding and how we apply the sacrament. It is such an important thing each week, and sometimes we lose ourselves in those short minutes. I really urge everyone to study a little bit more about the sacrament this week, and the transforming power that is available if we just have faith.

I love the message and testimony that Elder Holland shares in this video entitled The Savior Understands Me. It is short (just 3 minutes) but so powerful.

Miracle of the week:
Yesterday, we visited Iona and Gabriel, who had a bunch of questions about the book of mormon, and the truthfulness of it. We headed out a little bit (*extremely) late, and ended up sprinting to the house of our investigator, Shaolina, to walk to church with her. And it was incredible, because as we were literally running through the road, both Sister Vidal and I felt that we were running faster/lighter than physically possible... haha. Without a doubt, we had angels on our sides! And all ended well, because we were able to get to church with both her and her 2 year old son, Pedro, all in one piece. Phew. Miracles still happen, without a doubt.

Have a wonderful week! Beijos!
