news of the week! I tripped in the road and did something to a ligament in my foot/leg. WOOT WOOT. So I am now doing physical therapy, and life is grand. All is good. Atleast nobody died.
So yes, I stayed at home with Sister Dias, another Sister who has mais ou menos destroyed her knee.. she fell in São Luís and hit her knee really bad. We are praying for her that all will be well, because she will most likely need to go home to do surgery on her knee. The mission life is rough people.
But the good side of things is that this left lots, and lots, and LOTS of time to study. I read a lot from the President Hinckly manual, and loved the chapter on serving one another. Loved what he said about service, that "The best antidote I know for worry is work. The best medicine for despair is service. The best cure for weariness is the challenge of helping someone who is even more tired."
