This is the phrase of the week ^^ which translates to the idea that "life doesn't let us think serious things."
Which is so true as a missionary HAHAHA
Sister Alves and I just pass our days laughing and living it up, because life is so funny as a missionary. The contacts that we do here in Teresina just crack me up, or one of the lessons that we had the other day:
We were teaching a lesson for a recent-convert, Karine, and were seated outside of her house. The chairs were placed in the dirt, and mid-way through the lesson, Sister Alves' chair began... to... sink. Right as she was sharing her testimony about the importance of family history XD hahahaha.
Also, I have to share the new theme of mutual this year, which is Peace in Christ. All of the sisters here are in love with this theme, including me of course, so please watch and enjoy this video. (Oh yeah, AND THIS VIDEO WAS FILMED IN OUR MISSION!!! (: The sand dune place is around 3 hours from São Luís!)
I get chills every. single. time. that I hear this music. And if you have a minute, watch in português, because hey. BRASIL.
Hope everyone has a wonderful week! Don't forget to say your prayers and really pour out your heart to Heavenly Father. He is so mindful of you and what you do and feel every single day. I was studying a bit about God's nature this week, and just sit in awe over the fact that he is so powerful and perfect - yet he loves us. Us, being imperfect, stubborn, forgetful, and difficult at times. Yet we are his children, and he loves us so much. Don't forget that!
